Jean W. Barkin age 95 of Grand Rapids, passed away on January 31, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis. Jean is survived by her children, Joni Trempala, Sherry (Doug) Singer and Dr. Scott (Dr. Maureen Gallagher) Barkin; grandchildren, Alison Levine, Suzanne Schneider-Herbstman, Marc Singer, Greg Singer, Franny Liebman, Katherine Barkin-Tessman, and Dr. Jack Barkin; 13 great-grandchildren; and good friend, Edith Rashewsky. The Funeral Service will be held 2 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Heritage Life Story – Alt and Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW. Interment in Ahavas Israel Cemetery.
