Jean Wilma Near, age 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 13, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Jennie (Hunderman) VanDyke; her brother, John VanDyke; and her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Near. She is survived by a niece and nephews. Interment in Oakhill Cemetery.
