Jean Marilla (Canda) Duda, age 91, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2021. Jean was born in Grand Rapids in the winter of 1929 to Raymond and Florence Canda. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roman; son, Richard “Dickie”. Jean is survived by children, Darlene Truszkowski, Laurie Duda, Mary Duda, Joanie Newcomb and Michael Duda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 11 AM at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, (224 Carrier St. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until the start of Mass. Jean will be laid to rest near her husband and son in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Belmont, MI.
