James Springborn

James Russell Springborn Born June 26,1942 Surrounded by his loving family, Jim went to Heaven on August 21, 2023 after a battle with Leukemia. He was always so proud that his family loved each other, enjoyed being together and all got along. He was the perfect example of unconditional love. Jim worked as a journeyman pattern and model maker for Lakeside enterprises for 42 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing pigeons, and was the happiest on the golf course. He is survived by his three children and their spouses Jennifer( Steve) McCloskey, Jeff (Liz), Springborn, Jamie (Rob) Laming. He had Nine grandchildren that he adored and was so proud of: Chase (Trisha) McCloskey, Morgan McCloskey, Colin (Bethann) McCloskey, Hayden (Colton) Andrews, Keenan (Jenna), Trevin, and Bryson Laming, Natalie and Ryan Springborn. Also survived by his sister Susan Hart and by Judy Springborn. A celebration of Jim’s life will be open house at Golden Hawk Golf Course 9861 Meisner Road Casco, MI on Sunday, September 3, 2023 from 3:00-5:00pm
