James Leon Smith, age 88 of Grand Rapids, passed away December 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Smith; and by his daughter, Cathleen Shoemaker. Jim is survived by his children Debra Dean and Pamela Unger. Jim served in the US Air Force. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held for his burial.
