James Sheldon

James R. Sheldon passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019. His great sense of humor, his jokes and of course his urge to play tricks will live on through the memory of his family and friends. He leaves behind two children, Carey and Mikal; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Richard “Richie” and Janet. James is preceded in death by two of his children, Susan and James “Jimmy D”; his parents Evelyn and Adelbert; and three siblings, Howard, Geraldine and Sandra. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 2-6 PM at the VFW (Veteran’s of Foreign Wars) located at 557 11th St. NW in Grand Rapids.
