James Mooney

James (Jim) Martin Mooney

He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Growing up and throughout his life, he enjoyed the family business of all things cars and trucks. He was a stellar salesman. Car shows were a highlight. He also loved the flee market and finding a ‘good deal’. Although he faced many struggles throughout his life, in his later years he found and experienced so much joy being an integral part of the lives of his son Don Paul and granddaughter Olive. One his proudest moments was walking his daughter June down the Isle. Another one gone too soon.

Preceded in death by his parents Jack and Betty Mooney, and his brother Don Mooney. He is survived by his wife Delia Mooney; ex-wife Joan Mooney, his real life ‘Earth Angel’; two loving children, June Marie Elmer (James Elmer) and Don Paul Mooney; his sisters Jackie O’Neal and Cindy Barnes (George Barnes); brother Tom Mooney (Julie Mooney); sister-in-law Char Mooney; his greatest joy in life, his granddaughter Olive Alma Mooney and numerous nieces and nephews.
