James Bouma

Mr. James Bouma, aged 64, of Cutlerville, formerly of Kentwood, entered into the arms of Jesus on November 13, 2006 after a 16 month battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sister, John, Connie, Gord, Don, and Paul. Surviving are his wife, Kellie; children, Michael (Michele) Bouma and Cynthia Bouma; grandchildren, Jessica, Audrey, and Joshua; father-in-law, John Draaisma; brothers and sisters, Norm (Marian) Bouma, Gesena (Jay) Groenendyk, Marilyn (George) Vegter, Bob Bouma, Percy Bouma, and Mary (Manny) Matos; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, George Brink, Willie Bouma, Ruth Bouma, Karol (Hal) Smiley, Jacob Draaisma, Peter (Susan) Draaisma, Derek Draaisma, Olga (Eric) Hallstedt, and David (Rebecca) Draaisma; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:45 a.m. Thursday at Kelloggsville Christian Reformed Church, 610 52nd Street, SE, with Rev. Ronald Fynewever officiating. Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
