Jack Pickett I r was born on July 31.1946 in Akron AL to the late Ms. Mattie Pickett and the late Mr. Jack Pickett Sr. He departed his life on March 17, 2023
Jack Pickett Jr left Alabama at a young age and moved to Florida to pick oranges. He then moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan as a young man where he pursued construction. He went on to meet his late wife Ida Pickett. Years later he met Shelia Washington that also proceeds him in death, and they
shared a daughter (Deleane Washington)
Jack Pickett Jr confessed his life to Christ and was baptized on August 23, 2021, by pastor Frank Eddins of Metropolitan Memorial Baptist Church of
Ypsilanti, MI.
Jack Pickett Jr preceded in death his mother Ms. Mattie Pickett, his father Jack Pickett Jr; three sisters, Rosie Ryan's (Tight), Sarah Collins (Nell), and Sarah Pickett (Sugarfoot); Three brothers Vernice Ryans (Sutton), Rufus
Ryans (Dove) and Leo Walton (Frank)
Jack Pickett Jr leaves to celebrate his life daughter Deleana Washington and Grandchildren, and his brother Leon (Mary) Pickett of Grand Rapids. MI.: One
uncle Dave Rollins of Eutaw, AL. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
