Howard Gooden, age 75 of Grand Rapids, passed away December 23, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Gooden and mother, Carrie Brooks. He is survived by his step-mother, Odellia Gooden of Arkansas; siblings Henrietta (Kenneth) Waldburg, of Georgia, Lisa Gooden of Georgia, and Lawrence Gooden of Pennsylvania; as well as many nieces and nephews. The service to remember his life will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home - Van Strien Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield Ave NE where friends may visit with his family for one hour prior to the service. for those who wish, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
