Age 86 passed away October 19, 2019. Harvey was born February 13, 1933 in Monette, AR to the late Ervin and Tilda (Qualls) Johnson. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary; children, Harvey Johnson, Jr., Roxann Ledford; and son in law, Richard Kowalczyk. Harvey was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War and was retired from American Seating. He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Kowalczyk of Clearwater Beach, FL, Pamela (Jack) Ashley of Rockford, Karen (Thomas) Plaska of Grand Rapids; son in law, Robert Ledford, of Holland; grandchildren, Kimberly Ledford, Robert Ledford, Jr., Richard Kowalczyk III, Holly Kowalczyk, Melissa (Roger) Gard, Katie Plaska; and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, Kirk (Maggie) Johnson, Ken Johnson, Carolyn (Robert) Idziak; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Interment with full military honors will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
