Harry Harris Womble III, 79, of Walker, Michigan, passed away on March 28, 2026. He was born September 11, 1946, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Harry Jr. and Frances Womble.
Harry proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he built a steady and dedicated career, retiring from Blackmer Pump after 28 years of service. He was also a graduate of Grand Rapids Junior College.
A lifelong sports fan, Harry loved both playing and watching the games he enjoyed most. He played football for Union High School and carried that love of sports with him throughout his life. He also found joy in the kitchen—especially cooking for his family and preparing meals for holidays, where time together and good food were at the center of the celebration.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, and his granddaughter, Ashlyn Rogers.
He is survived by his children, Ronda (Jason) Rogers and Ryan (Teresa) Womble; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Shawn) VanPutten, Austin Bagge, Jaxon Rogers, Courtney Rogers, Sophia Rogers, and Sam Rogers; and his great-grandchildren, Matthew VanPutten and Hudson Taylor.
