Harold Melpolder

Harold J. Melpolder, age 87 of Grand Rapids, was called to his Heavenly home on Saturday February 20, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Kate (VanderLaan) Melpolder. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Elaine (Roedema); son Ronald (Laurie) Melpolder, daughters Sandra (Wallace) Glaza and Susan (Randall) Zandstra; 7 grandchildren: Eric (Kelly) Melpolder, Jennifer (Tim) Corson, Michelle (Travis) Krentz, Rebecca (Brett) Johnson, Kristy (Rodney) Norman, Melissa (Preston) Peacock and Christopher Zandstra; 9 great grandchildren, sister Lorraine (Gerald) Crumback, sister in law Barbara (Paul) Bierens. We are so proud of him, knowing his race is finished and that he was welcomed home to the sweet words of his Heavenly Father “well done my good and faithful servant”. Harold was a very selfless man who loved his family and his friends and even more loved Jesus. He demonstrated the hands and feet of Christ and praised the Lord just like one of his favorite passage Psalm 103.
