PATER, Gordon P.
Grand Rapids, MI
Age 84, passed away October 10, 2021 at Spectrum Blodgett Hospital. Gordon was born November 22, 1936 in East Grand Rapids to the late Clarence and Irene (Elmer) Pater. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marlene and his brother, Pete Pater. Gordon was a believer in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his faith was demonstrated in his selfless service to his fellow man. His wish would be for others to share the same faith. He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Gertrude Holwerda, Pearl VanKuiken; and several nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at 10 AM at Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11 AM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW. Memorials may be made to Faith Hospice.
