PATTON - Our Lord and Savior called Gail Louise (Demott) Patton home on July 27th, 2006. Gail was the daughter of Stanley and Marvel (Blonshine) DeMott, born February 21, 1940 in Grand Rapids, MI and was raised in Grand Rapids, Big Rapids, Lakeview and Mecosta. She married Clarence (Buck) Patton on November 15, 1958 in Grand Rapids. (She got her first "Buck" on opening day!). Preceeding her in death was her husband of 35 years, Buck Patton, her parents, Stanley and Marvel DeMott; her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Retha (Patton) DeMott; brother-in-law, Jack Patton; niece, Lisa; nephews, David and Bruce. Gail is survived by her children, Gordon and Stephanie Patton of Paris; Robert and Laura Cairns of Edmore; Kellie Patton and Marsella Jones of Grand Rapids; Barbara and Rodney McFall of Edmore and Grand Rapids; her siblings, Cecil and Janice DeMott, Kast and Joyce Sredersas all of Mecosta; her grandchildren, Jennifer and Melissa Patton, Ryan, Ricky Cairns, Thomas Patton, Kayla Black, Gary and Christina Howell, Jaysen, Pearl and Rodney III McFall; five great-grandchildren, Michael, Shylee, Sierra, Saydee and Wolfgang; Her sisters and Brothers In Law, Delores Regolizio and Marguerite Dickeson both of Florida, Richard and Elaine Patton of Walkerville, Jerry and Sandy Patton of Walker, Rodney and Pearl Patton of Grand Rapids, Roger and Patty Patton of Newaygo, Char and Bill Struik, Frank and Bonnie Patton, all of Rockford, Luann Patton of Mancelona; several nieces and nephews and some very special friends. Gail had numerous interests. She enjoyed her flowers, cooking and canning, sewing and crafts. She loved to travel to new places. North to South, East to West she traveled; Canada to Flordida, she had driven to both the Atlantic (N.J.) and the Pacific coasts (California). She was not limited to ground transportation, having flown to England, Germany Hawaii. One of Gail's favorite things to do was research her family history. Searching for all the ancestry information available. Funeral Services for Gail will be Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Six Lakes, Michigan with Pastor John Jackem officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, July 29, 2006 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., all at the funeral chapel
