Frances Jean Robinson

Frances Jean Robinson age 89 passed away on March 20, 2023 at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence in Battle Creek, Michigan. Jean was born in Ceresco, Michigan on November 17, 1933 to Ned and Bessie (Fenn) Kay. She graduated from Marshall High School and earned a Practical Nursing diploma. She worked for many years in Private Duty home care specializing in geriatrics, which she loved. Jean enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines group, dancing, bingo, bunco, shopping and ceramics. Most of all she enjoyed family time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean was an animal lover and adored the many dogs, cats and horses that were part of her family over her lifetime. Jean is survived by her daughters Cathy Casterline, Sharon VanVranken (Pete) and Stephanie Wall. Eight grandchildren: Lisa Casterline (Sean Gross), Matt Casterline (Ashleigh Woodworth), Chris Jones, Brian Brawner (Shelly Fenton), Sean Brawner (Kelsey Ainsworth), Nicole Clinton-Brawner, Molly VanVranken and Reese VanVranken. Nine great-grandchildren Sarah Gross, Morgan Casterline, Breegan Woodworth, Baylee Casterline, McKenzie Jones, Darius Jones, Alaura Brawner, Jerr Woody and Tripp Brawner. Two Great-great grandchildren: Makenzie and Levi Gross. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronel Robinson, parents, sister Mary Hiscock, brothers Laurence Kay and John Kay, son Mark Brawner and son-in-law Kevin Wall. Cremation has taken place. No service is planned per her wishes. She will be laid to rest in Newton Cemetary at a later date. Memorial donations may be directed to Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence in Battle Creek, Michigan or Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
