Evelyn Herron

Evelyn Herron, age 85, of Grand Rapids, was called to her heavenly home on February 8, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Herron; son, Ed Herron; sister, Wilma Snyder; brother, Joe Texer. She is survived by her sons, Michael and Mary Herron, Ronald and Jeanne Herron, Terry and Mary Herron; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Henry and Marian Texer, Egbert and Leona Texer, Alice Texer and her friend Char, John and Virginia Texer, Jane and Casey Kortlever, Bertha Feltenbarger, Thressa Zylstra, Frances and Al Dekker; sister-in-law, Elsa Texer; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Services will be held Saturday 2:00 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive. Interment Grandville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
