Mr. Elwin “Al” Eugene Biggins age 89, of Grand Rapids, passed away on December 20, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha “Marty”; son, Brian Shane Biggins; daughter, Sharon Lorraine Anton; and brother, Richard James Biggins. Al is survived by his son, Michael Elwin Biggins; son-in-law, Pat Anton; grandchildren, Tyler Michael (Laura) Biggins and Mariah Elizabeth Biggins; great-grandsons, Tucker Robert, Gavin Michael and Landon Biggins. Also surviving are his brother, Dennis (Linda) Biggins; and nieces and nephews. Al served in the US Navy during the Korean War. A Memorial Service with military honors will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 1833 Plainfield Ave NE. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Contributions in his memory may be made to American Legion Post 356.
