Ellen May Moomey

Mrs. Ellen May Moomey, age 85, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard. Surviving are her children, Nancy (Ralph) Kramer of Hudsonville, Gerald (Barbara) Moomey of White Cloud, Daniel (Cathy) Moomey of Newaygo, Jack (Lora) Moomey of Allendale, Patricia (Samuel) Garrow of Hudsonville; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Fields of Grand Rapids, Lillian (Theodore) Kass of Ravenna, Marjorie (Harold) Teeter of Grand Rapids, and Mary (Frank) Steed of Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at Cook Memorial Chapel (east building), 4235 Prairie SW Grandville, with Reverend Richard VerKaik officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet Ellen's family Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home (west building). Ellen's family would like to express special thanks to Lekesha, Kim, and Diane for the loving care given to her.
