Eleanor P. Lago

Eleanor Peterson Lago, 98, daughter of A. Enoch and Ellen (Holmgren) Peterson, went into the presence of her Lord on October 21, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer W. Lago, three great-grandchildren, her brother, A. Roger (Marcella) Peterson; sisters-in-law, Helen Lago and Marian Wilsey; and son-in-law, Roger Moxon. She is survived by her children: James (Mary) Lago, Ruth Moxon (Walter) Wolf, and Anne (Charles) Sweeris; grandchildren Timothy (Joy) Lago, Jeffrey (Lisa) Lago, Mark (Alison) Lago, Amy (Patrick) Firtl, Andrew (Linda) Moxon, Emily (Martin) Vietor, David Sweeris, and Ellen (Kevin) McGladdery; twelve great-grandchildren; nieces Lynette (Lou) Tornatzky and Elaine (John) Koenig; several cousins and many friends. Eleanor was a life-long member of First Evangelical Covenant Church and was involved in many ministries throughout her life. Visitation will be at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW from 5-8 PM on Monday, October 29, 2018. A private burial has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at First Evangelical Covenant Church, 1933 Tremont Blvd., NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49504.
