Edwin B Ferenc.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Lucille (Konieczny); his parents Joseph and Josephine (Barako) Ferenc; brother, Chester, sisters Sonia Miknavich and Helen Zyzyk; and sister-in-law Evelyn Dahlberg. He is survived by his brother-in-law Edward (Erma) Konieczny, and many nieces and nephews. Edwin served his nation in the Navy from 1943-1946. He was an original Plank Member of the USS Ar 13 Amphion. He was awarded the American Defense Ribbon, The America Area Ribbon, The Asiatic Pacific Ribbon, The WW II Victory Ribbon. Edwin worked and played softball for RC Allen for over 20 years. He also worked in the service department of Oliver Products and retired after over 20 years.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 4 at 10:30 AM at the Basilica of St. Adalbert where friends are invited to visit with his family beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the Humane Society of West Michigan are appreciated.
