Edith A. Lacic

On Monday, June 17, 2024 at the age of 75, Edie (Edith) Adella (Christian) Lacic entered into eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her husband James Conrad Lacic, her son James David Lacic, her Mother Alice Louise Christian (Coykendall), her Father Eldon Christian, her Sister Judy May Christian, her brother Bernie Christian, and her brother-in-law Terry Davis. She is survived by her Son Victor Lacic, her Sister Susan Kay Davis (Christian), her sister-in-law Kathy Johns (Lacic), her sister-in-law Sandra Christian (Svec), several nieces, nephews and many friends. Edie was a hardworking and loyal member for over 25 years for the retail chain Kmart and retired from the North Kent store. She was a loving and generous Mother, Sister, Daughter and Wife. Her faith was an important and guiding force in her life. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and throughout the years volunteered in the Family History Genealogy Center as well as teaching children’s Sunday school. Although her last few years of life were filled with challenging health complications, she found comfort in family and friends. Going to breakfast at New Beginnings and spending time with her youngest Sister, Susie brought Edie much joy. Family and Friends are able to find peace that Edie’s health struggles and pain she endured are now at rest. There will be a Memorial Service for Edie at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (2780 Leonard St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525) on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.
