Douglas A. Timmer

Douglas A. Timmer, aged 52, of Zeeland, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 12, 2006. Doug retired from the US Army Reserves after 22 years of service. He was preceded in death by his father, Burton Timmer. Surviving are his wife, Dawn; his children, Travis and Catlin; his mother, Virginia Timmer; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Vern and Charleen Roosien; one sister, three brothers, three sisters-in-law, and a special brother-in-law, Richard (Stacy) Roosien. The Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Stroo Funeral Home. Interment in Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society of West Shore or A.R.C. - Advocacy and Resource Center of Ottawa County.
