Donald John Anderson

Donald John Anderson age 53, of Grand Rapids and Sparta, passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2021. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Anderson. Donnie is survived by his mother, Sally Kirkwood; step father, Patrick Kirkwood; twin brother, David Anderson; sisters, Susie Sterns, Margaret (Jason) Kurth and Paula (Ken) Neuman; nieces, Ashleigh, Makenna, and Lacie; and nephew, Austin. A Memorial Gathering with luncheon will take place on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 3:30-6:30 PM at Knights of St Casimir Aid Society (6th St Hall, 649 6th St NW Grand Rapids, MI. Donnie was friendly and always willing to help others and his stories made everyone laugh. He cherished his nieces and nephew, especially his close relationship with his youngest niece, Lacie, all the time the spent together.
