Donald Lee Alexander, age 51 of Lowell left this earth January 5, 2006. Born July 16, 1954 to Jim and MaeDean Alexander, he died at home, with the comfort of his family being with him after a short hard battle with liver cancer. An employee of Ryder Transport Systems for 30 years. Don thoroughly enjoyed scuba diving in the Caribbean and looked forward to the chance at becoming a dive master. He will be truly missed by his wife of 29 years, Cheryl; daughters, Jessica (Smith) and Laura Beth; grandchildren, Enya and Cort Smith and Tiffany and Taylor Reese; parents Jim and MaeDean Alexander; sisters, Mary (Bob) Ford, Carrie (Joe) Kiczenski; many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N. Hudson. Dr. Michael Conklin of First United Methodist Church of Lowell officiating.
