Harold (Desi) Desotell, aged 61, of Belmont. Our beloved father, grandfather, husband, brother and friend has suddenly departed this earthly place on December 23, 2005 and is dancing in the heavens. It is with great sadness that we tell you of the loss of Desi. He was a self-made man who, in spite of everything, was a success. He leaves many to cherish his memory. Desi was the owner and founder of Eagle Installations, Inc. He is survived by daughter, Pamela (Jeff) Morris and children, David and Sarah; daughter, Penny (James) Couch and children, Desmond, Damon and Dominick; sweetheart and companion, Kay Bierman and her children, Rhett (Angela) Bierman and Kourtney Bierman (Nick); former wife, Louise Desotell, all of Grand Rapids; sisters, Hanni (James) Simpson of Indiana, Theresa (Verle) Stahl of Lake Odessa; brother, Gordon (Karen) Desotell; father, Harry Desotell both of Six Lakes; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by mother, Emma Desotell. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 29 at 1:00 p.m. at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Rd SE with Rev. Louis Lotz of Central Reformed Church officiating. Interment Graceland Cemetery.
