David Koets

David Lee Koets passed through the veil on July 16, 2024 and stands now in the presence of his Lord and Savior. David and his wife Mary, who preceded him in death, were long time members of 12th Street CRC before it closed. Thereafter, they attended Westend CRC until they finished their journey here on earth. David served his church in a number of different ways, including being a deacon as recently as a couple of years ago. He was also a humble ice cream scooper, practicing that craft in advance of Westend’s community dinners. Life handed Dave and Mary some difficult circumstances, their faith carried them through.

David finished his journey at Edison Christian Life Services. Special thanks to the staff for their loving service. David’s most immediate remaining family includes his son, Scott, brother and sister in law, Larry and Barb Koets, sister in law, Patricia Stouten, as well as several nieces and nephews.
