David Alan Rapaport, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, in Delray Beach, Florida, at the age of 80.

David was the cherished husband of Marlene and devoted father to his daughters, Sarah and Susie, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. He is also survived by his loving brothers Irving (Barbara) Rapaport and Stuart (Barbara) Rapaport, as well as many adoring nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Born on May 21, 1945, David spent much of his life in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was the proud co-owner of Grand Rapids Auto Parts, a family business he ran alongside his father, Seymour, and brother, Stuart. Through years of dedication and hard work, David helped build a business rooted in trust, reliability, and community.

David was known for his warm heart, sharp sense of humor, and deep generosity. He loved spending time on the golf course, boating with family and friends, and simply being surrounded by the people he loved most. His presence lit up a room, and his laughter was truly contagious.

He was always the first to offer help, a story, or a smile. David’s love for his daughters was the center of his world, and their close relationship remained strong and full of love until the very end.

David leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and deep family love. We will carry his memory with us always and treasure the countless joyful moments we shared.
