Dave Williamson

David Wayne Williamson, age 69, passed away at home, January 21, 2026. Dave was born September 30, 1956 in Beeville, TX to the late Robert and Bette (Branton) Williamson. He grew up moving every seven years as a navy “brat”. On December 3, 1987, Dave put roots down for good when he married Tonya Versluis, his wife of 38 years survives, as do their children, Beatrice (Kenneth) Johnson, Quinton (Tiana Cronin) Williamson, Cedric (Roxana Mena) Williamson, Darius Williamson; and grandchildren, Scott and Jasmine. Dave was a member of LaGrave Avenue Christian Reformed Church. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held Monday, January 26, 2026 from 5-7 pm at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW. A public graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 11 AM at Rosedale Memorial Park, 50 Lake Michigan Drive NW. The family extends a special thank you to Dave’s nurse Kaila for the care she provided Dave during his last days.
