Csaba Elek Lengyel, age 77 of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away August 28, 2019. Csaba was born in Budapest, Hungary on October 3rd, 1941. Without any formal schooling, he was an intelligent man who learned from reading and traveling. He was book smart, had common sense and spoke multiple languages. He was 16 years old when he left Hungary when the Russians invaded. He worked on a farm in France for three years before immigrating to the United States. He first lived in Newtown, Connecticut and worked as a truck driver before moving to Wyoming, Michigan. He enjoyed going camping, gardening, collecting coins and learning about history. Csaba enjoyed meeting new people and sharing stories with them. He will be missed by his family and friends but his memory will live on. Csaba was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Lengyl, and parents, Elek and Maria Lengyel. He is survived by his brother Szabolcs Lengyl; son and daughter-in-law Peter and Holly Lengyl, daughter and son-in-law Gabriella and William Strolin; grandchildren Christian Strolin, Vicki Renda, Jeremiah Lengyel and Michael Lengyel; nephews Atilla Lengyel and Miki Lengyel. Cremation has taken place.
