Christine Jansen

Christine Lynn Jansen (Leonard) age 57 of Grand Rapids Michigan passed away on July 10,2023 at home.

Christine was born on April 12, 1966. She graduated from Union High School in 1985.

Christine loved decorating her home for the seasons and the holidays. She enjoyed kayaking, traveling and most of all life on the beach. She loved being in the sun. She spent time as a Hospice volunteer and was a cancer survivor. Christine also enjoyed country music and going to concerts. She was an avid animal lover, especially her beloved cat Emma. Christine spent many weekends at the lake with her niece and nephews while they were growing up.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents Sally and Bruce Yost and her sister Connie.

Christine is survived by her brother Ronald and Monica Leonard. Stepsister Christine and Bob McFarlin , niece and nephews Steven, Nathan, Jeffrey, Ashli, Will and Garrett and her best friend Ricki (Tony) Goodman and many other friends.

Christine will be remembered for her loving spirit and unconditional kindness to others.

A private family ceremony will take place at a later date.
