Christine Braun

Christine R. Braun of, Grand Rapids Michigan, passed away on January 2, 2025 after a brief hospital stay. Christine was preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Verba Douse, her sister-in-law Sandy Douse, and sisters Darlene Drewyour, Jackie Mockerman and Michelle Bement.

Christine is survived by her significant other of forty-two years Wayne King, her son Carl Braun, her daughter Cheryl (Barney) Koster, grandchildren Jason (Jennifer) Koster, Michael (Payton Marsh) Koster, Carla (Rey) Guarjareo and Hayley (Ty Peace) Braun; as well as many great-grandchildren. Christine also leaves behind her sisters Sandy (Dave) Caswell, Crickett Sweet, and brother Ross Douse.

Christine will be well known for her loving supporting care to her family and others during her many years of being a mother, certified caregiver, a housekeeper and cosmetologist.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
