KNICKERBOCKER, Carolyn A.

Grand Rapids, MI

Carolyn went home to be with her Lord, October 28, 2021 at age 101. She was born September 15, 1920 in Stockholm, Sweden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Axel and Blenda Anderson; her husband of 67 years, Rev. Harold Knickerbocker; son, Daniel Knickerbocker; and siblings, Charles Anderson and Elaine Turner. Carolyn served alongside her husband at North Casnovia Baptist, Clare Baptist, Alpine Baptist, and Midway Baptist Churches. Following retirement they traveled with Canadian Revival Fellowship. Carolyn was an accomplished pianist, organist, choir director and music teacher. Carolyn is survived by her children, Charles Knickerbocker of East Lansing, Patricia (Steve) Werdon of Lake Odessa, Bette (Todd) Ohlman of Lowell, David (Laura Ell) Knickerbocker of Chicago; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 2 PM followed by the service at 3 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, Van Strien Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield NE.
