Betty Cudworth

Betty Helen Cudworth, age 97, passed away December 23, 2023 after a well lived long life. Betty was born August 11, 1926 in Detroit to the late Thomas and Helen (Shaver) Martin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cudworth; siblings, Tom Martin and Mary Zurburg. Betty lived a life of love and joy with family and many friends from Wallin Congregational Church. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, volunteering, bird watching, camping, golfing, bowling, cookies, Steak n Shake, and fried cakes from Van’s Pastries. Betty is survived by her children, Paula (Forrest) Wyckoff and Christopher (Linda) Cudworth; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Greg), Adam (Kaitlyn), Tracie (Jeff), Vanessa (Clyde), Keeva (Phil); and 5 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held, Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11 AM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW. Friends may visit with family beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Washington Park Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Michigan Hospice or Blandford Nature Center.
