Beth Hendrickson

Beth Adele Hendrickson, aged 84 of Grand Rapids, MI passed away and entered into the arms of her Savior Saturday, August 16, 2025. Her faith, generosity, and love for her family and friends brought great joy to those who knew her.

Beth’s devotion to her church and her commitment to serving others, especially children, were among her most cherished legacies. Her strong faith guided every part of her life, and her church family held a special place in her heart. Beth was a loyal supporter of the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions and found delight in cheering on her favorite teams. The recent winning seasons brought her great joy.

Beth is lovingly remembered by her sister, Judy Nykamp; her nephews, Jon Hendrickson, Steve (Angie) Hendrickson, Dan (Shari) Hendrickson, Brian (Ginny) Ruch; her nieces, Susan (Jim) Zuidema, Amanda (Trever) Merritt; as well as many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Jerry (Karen) Hendrickson and brother-in-law Norm Nykamp.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 27 at 11 AM at Standale Reformed Church (202 Cummings Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534). Interment will be at Washington Park Cemetery. Beth’s family will receive visitors at the church on Wednesday, August 27th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service.
