Bernidean Dora Hiskes

Mrs. Bernidean Dora (Iwema) Hiskes, aged 94, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 2, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hiskes, and two great grandchildren, Kaitlin Koopman and Celia Kuiper. She is survived by her children, George and Audrey Hiskes, Doris and Donald Koopman, Evelyn and Ross Smith, Anjean and LeRoy Stegink, Maria and James Vanden Bosch; grandchildren, George and Elaine Hiskes, Mark and Carol Hiskes, Jayne and Andy Griffin, Dirk and Sue Koopman, Dean and Janice Koopman, Tony and Denise Brookhouse, Suzanna Smith, Brian and Cristi Smith, Brad and Karen Smith, Gwen and Curt Overbeek, Anamarie and Chris Gronsman, Katie and John Kuiper, Mark Stegink, Franklin and Mindi Vanden Bosch, Anjean and Christina Vanden Bosch; great grandchildren, Frank Hiskes and fiancee Gina Verburg, Ryan Hiskes, Katie Hiskes, Colleen and Thomas Griffin, Matthew, Zach, Luke and Ben Hiskes, Sarah, Peter, Benjamin, Sam Koopman, Rachel, Megan, Caleb Koopman, Nathan, Owen, Gabriel and Hope Brookhouse, Alex, Andres, Adrian Smith, Hannah, Nicholas Overbeek, Abigail, Aaron and Willem Gronsman, Benjamin Kuiper. Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel with Rev. George Vander Weit officiating. Friends may call Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in South Chapel Hill Gardens in Worth, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvin College.
