Barbara Ann Swan, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2026. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on November 21, 1942, to Wallace and Virginia (Morse) Imhoff. Barb graduated from Creston High School, where she met the love of her life. She became Catholic and married Rex (Rocky) Swan on February 11, 1961, and they spent the next 65 beautiful years together.

Barb was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband and their three children: Laurie (Peter) Pell, Mike (Pamela) Swan, and Sherri (Chris) Rimmel. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Matt, Chris (Nicole), Kali (Terry), Krista, Kamie, Andrew, Josh, and Chelsea (Jesse); her great-grandchildren: Easton, Jaxson, Terrill, Kiya, and Dean; her brother Robert (Beverly) Imhoff; and several nieces and nephews. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Virginia, her brother Richard Imhoff, her sister BethAnn Imhoff, and her in-laws Mary and Eugene McNamara.

Barb and her husband are lifetime members of the Casino Club. Barb also belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary and coached junior bowling on Saturday mornings. Together, they enjoyed going on several canoe trips. Barb loved bowling, golfing, and just spending time with friends. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing doll clothes, and many other crafts. Her absolute favorite time was spent taking long walks with her dog, Lady, and sharing precious moments with her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2275 Diamond Ave N.E., 49505, Grand Rapids, MI.
