Barbara Boes

Barbara Boes, aged 61, of Coral passed away April 8 at her residence. She was born April 3, 1945, the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Daam) Baker. Barbara loved spending time with her family, she enjoyed music, especially when it came to playing her cordovox. She enjoyed traveling with her husband on his motorcycle and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coral. In 1963 she married Egbert (Bert) Boes who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Daniel (Carolynn) of Coral, David (Kathy) of Rockford; two daughters, Valerie (Kevin) Gates of Trufant, Tracy (Michael ) Morden of Howard City; 19 grandchildren; two brothers, Peter Baker of Caledonia, Gerald Baker of Dutton; three sisters, Marie Eldridge of Bitely, Betty Smith of Lowell, Elaine Smith of Saranac, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter Angela Morden. Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist church in Cedar Springs with Pastors Bert Boes, Fred Carlson and Charles Reed officiating with burial at 3:00 p.m. in the Coral Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Emmanuel Baptist in Coral on Monday (today) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and also prior to services on Tuesday at The First Baptist church in Cedar Springs.
