Audrey passed away peacefully on Sunday November 14th, 2021 with her kids and loved ones by her side. Born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI, she was raised by her beloved grandmother Leona. Audrey was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren, kayaking on Gun Lake, her fur babies, Oliver and Evee and celebrating holidays with her kids and grand kids. She was a hard worker who never missed a day of work. Audrey shared her love of music with her children. She was a huge fan of 80s music as well as heavy metal and alternative. When the holiday season rolled around, however, Audrey made sure that her calendar was clear for hosting large family gatherings. She insisted that Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter were spent with her children and grandchildren. Even if one of her children were planning to host, she’d kick them out of the kitchen and start cooking! She even managed to bake a delicious Dutch apple pie from scratch in their oven! Audrey adored her role as a grandmother and often went over the top with gifts. Her grandchildren were her everything and she always saw to it that every birthday and Christmas were special. Always there for her family, Audrey never missed a special event or school activity. She wanted nothing more than to share in their every success. Audrey is survived by her sons Roy and Ryan and her daughter Autumn along with her nine grandchildren. A wonderful mother, she was incredibly blessed with a beautiful family supporting her every step of the way. Sadly, she is gone too soon. May her rich collection of memories be forever cherished for generations to come. Audrey had a heart of a warrior and fought until the end. She always kept her faith through this journey and always had hope. Audrey left the world in peace as well as many special memories for her family to cherish. They will surely miss her warm and nurturing presence. May they always remember the unconditional love she had for them and share the joy she brought into their lives forevermore. In keeping with Audrey's wishes, private family services have been scheduled. At the family's request, memorial contributions are to be made to the American Cancer Society.
