Arthur George III, a lifelong resident of Michigan, passed away on September 5, 2026. Born on July 13, 1966, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Arthur lived a life dedicated to his family, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.
Arthur was the proud and loving father of five children: Arthur George IV, Melissa Ann Shinn, Angela Marie Shinn, Tiffany Shinn, and Stephanie Shinn. His family grew to include 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson, all of whom brought immense joy and laughter to his life.
He is also survived by his beloved sister, Cindy (Shinn) Smith, and his brother-in-law, George Smith. Arthur's warmth, kindness, and devotion to his family will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew him.
A memorial service to celebrate Arthur's life will be held at the NHBP Northern Facility, located at 311 State St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
