Life Story / Obituary

Print

How do we find the right words to describe a man who was larger than life? Arthur Nicholas Didaskalou “Nick” passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2025.

To know Nick was to love him. Nick was a true one of a kind! He was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Arthur and Donna Didaskalou and his brother, George. He is leaving behind his three daughters: Alissa, Cassandra, and Danielle: His loving sisters: Nola, Faye, Vicki, Donna, Kristi, Amy and his brother David and so many nieces and nephews and countless friends.

He was the proud owner of Middleton’s Music and Middleton’s Recycle. Nick was hugely active in the community and at his church. Most recently as a board member at Blues Gym, he was instrumental in ensuring that families were provided with meals, clothing and gifts during the holidays.

Nick was the leader of our family, and we are heartbroken. His faith and love for God gives us peace. He will be forever missed.

We love you Nick!!
