VRIES NOORMAN - Anne DeVries - Noorman, aged 87, of Jenison, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 4, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Sidney De Vries, Barney Noorman; daughter, Barbara Shackford; twin sister, Lee Roetman; sisters, Winn Byl, and Virginia Workman. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Pat and Jim Christians of Traverse City, Sid De Vries of Dorr; son-in-law, Hilliard Shackford of Davison; grandchildren, Sean and Sara Shackford, Chad and Jamie Shackford, Derek and Lesley Christians, Jenna and Eric Van Dyke, Shelly DeVries and fiancé, Brandon Esquivel, Scott De Vries; great-grandchildren, Johnathan Esquivel, Ben, and Abby Christians, Ethan, and Caleb Shackford; step-children, Ken and Bonnie Noorman, Jim Noorman, Bonnie and Bill Mills; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul Mulder, John and Dorothy Mulder; brother-in-law, David Byl; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2 PM at Sunset Manor Chapel, 725 Baldwin, Jenison with Rev. Richard Vander Klok officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice. Relatives and friends may greet her family on Saturday at Sunset Manor from 1 to 2 PM prior to the service.
