Moerdyke, Andrew went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 23, 2023, with his family by his side. Andrew was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ida, in 2020. Andrew will be well known for his work as a lead custodian at Northview Public Schools, he will always be fondly remembered as “Mr. Andy.” He was an exceptional carpenter and wood worker he enjoyed making and gifting wood crafts. Andrew is a veteran of the Korean war. He is survived by his daughters, Bonnie (James) Krafft of St. Joseph, Susan (Craig) Moerdyke-Brown of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Abigail (Joe) Schmidt, Michael (Lakshmi Ramachandran) Krafft; and great grandchildren, Jamey, Ayla and Skyler Schmidt. A graveside service will be held on Thursday April 27, 2023. Interment will be in Plainfield Township Cemetery. Memorials may be given to a hospice of your choice.
