Vickie Lynn Welch, aged 74 of Grand Rapids, MI passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 while in the comfort of her home and in the company of her husband.
She was born in Pelham Georgia in November of 1946 to the late Edward and Vera Dinkins.
Along with her parents Vickie is preceded in death by her two brothers Eddie and Bobby Dinkins.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Roger E. Welch Sr. and their son Roger Jr. (Nancy) Welch.
Also surviving are grandchildren Christine (David) Bowen, Craig (Ashley) Welch, Christina Welch and Aaron (Samantha) Templeman, 12 Great-Grandchildren and brother Terry Dinkins.
Vickie enjoyed a long career working at with Carbonneau Industries until her retirement. She liked a good game of cards with friends and family, traveling with Roger and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11 AM at Fairplains Cemetery, (2056 Diamond Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505).
