Born June 5-1927 and went to be with his Lord in Heaven, December 6,2020
Robert was born a twin in Ingersou, Canada to Arthur and Francis (Scott) Nielsen.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brothers Arthur, Paul (and his wife Jean), and his beloved twin brother, Lauren Nielsen (and his wife Eileen).
Robert was married to Elizabeth Ringle Nielsen for 49 years who he is now reunited with.
He is survived by his daughter Marilyn Nielsen; Grand Daughters Amber Zigterman, Ashley Keener (husband Kyle
Keener); and three great grand children; Edmund, Alexandra and Henry Keener; his son, Brian Nielsen (wife Laura); and grandsons Jonathan (wife Jaycee) and Hunter Wilber. He is also survived by his brothers and sister Francis Nielsen (wife Linda), Roger Nielsen (wife Juanita), Ruth (Nielsen) King (husband Ron King); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
Per Roberts longstanding wishes, no services will be held. He will be cremated and buried next to his wife, Elizabeth, in Allendale Cemetery.
