Quentin Dion Parker Jr, 30, was called to God’s heavenly kingdom January 24th, 2020.

Quentin was born on August 10th, of 1989 to his parents Michelle Latrice Goss and Quentin Dion Parker Sr. In Detroit MI.

Quentin attended Mt. Calvary Lutheran Elementary School, where he made many life long friends. He attended Lutheran High East where he played football, wrestling, basketball and baseball. While he was extremely athletic and excelled especially in wrestling and football. He was also a part of the School Choir, and often enjoyed singing for his friends and family.When Lutheran High East closed, Quentin finished his highschool education at Lutheran Northwest. He would go on to study at Argosy University and Grand Rapids CC where he completed his Tool & Die apprenticeship. He did not attend Calvin College but often visited his sister Qumisha on campus and met his future wife Nicole(Nikki) there. On September 18, 2015 Quentin married Nikki and They have been blessed with three beautiful children:Jace, Khai, and Harley.He worked as a Tool & Die Maker for many years to support his family. Quentin was raised in church and was a member of East Leonard Christian Reformed church.

All who have had the pleasure to meet Quentin, have had the opportunity to witness Quentin's focus and determination as well as his loyalty and generosity of spirit. Quentin loved his family immediate and extended and took time to let them know with verbal affirmations and his signature bear hugs. Not only does he have a large family of blood relatives and in-laws he also has a number of friends who have become like family.

*Quentin is the loving husband of Nikki; devoted father of Quentin Jace Dion, Khai Jaiden Dion and Harley Quinn Diona; dear uncle of Devon, Pyper, Liam, Ryder, Kameron, and Phynix; and beloved brother of Qumisha Goss, Khalid Vaughn, and Keona Vaughn.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife Nikki Parker, children Quentin Jace Dion Parker, Khai Jaiden Dion Parker, Harley Quinn Diona Parker siblings Qumisha Goss, Keona Vaughn, Khalid Vaughn his parents Michelle Goss and Quentin Parker Sr., Grandmother Cassandra Parker and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts , uncles, cousins and friends.

He also leaves his in-laws Sue and Dave Dykema and Carl Meyer and Tammy Gargano; grandparents Derk and Nancy Oostendorp, Casey and Ruth Meyer, Charles Dykema; siblings Renee (Brandon) Patterson, Stephanie Meyer, Troy Hall Joshua Dykema and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who dearly loved Quentin.

He was predeceased by his Grandfather L.C. Goss, his Great Grandmother Gloria Dean Parker, Great Grandfather Charlie Goss and his nephew Jihad Goss.

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Quentin Parker will be held in both Grand Rapids and Detroit as follows:
