Patricia Peebles

Patricia Jean Peebles, age 96 of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 15, 2021. She was an exceptional and devoted wife for 48 years to her late husband, George, and a loving sister to the late Robert (Donna) Holmes.

She leaves behind a legacy including her five children Kathryn (Paul) Janiczek, James Peebles, Paul Peebles, Colleen (Greg) Graham, Priscilla (Doug) Porterfield. She was a grandmother to Paul Janiczek, Jan Janiczek, Molly Lee, April Peebles, the late Jackson Peebles, Nathan Graham, Ian Graham and Megan Graham and great grandmother to Scout Janiczek.

She was a graduate of Wayne State University and worked for Ford Motor Company, Detroit Public Schools and Redford Union Schools.

She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her love of classical music, her hospitality, and her sweet but tenacious spirit. But mostly, she will be remembered for her love of the Lord, the Gospel and His Word.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 2 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home- Van Strien Creston Chapel where friends are invited to visit with her family beginning at 1 PM. The service will be livestreamed using the link listed under the services. A graveside service will be held at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan on Saturday, September 18 at 12 Noon.
