Mike Huber

Age 59, passed away October 19, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness. Mike was born July 19, 1962 in Grand Rapids to Jimmie and Betty (Chelette) Huber. He worked for Standex/ Tenibac Incorporated, and also was a well-liked horse farrier. Mike loved his work, his horse farm, his dog Gauge, but especially his family. On July 14, 1984 he married Betsy Oakes, his wife of 37 years survives as does his mother, Betty Huber; sister, Sue (Mike) Charles; brother, Jim (Pam) Huber; father-in-law, Jesse Oakes; in-laws, Ron (Kathie) Oakes, Janet (Bill) Sahlberg, Connie (Doug) Wiers, Janice Oakes; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Huber; sister, Peggy Long; mother-in-law, Agnes Oakes; and brother-in-law, Rick Oakes. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mike's life will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 from 6-9 PM at Tallmadge Township Hall, 1451 Leonard Street NW 49534.
