MaryAnn Lamphear

Lamphear, Mary Ann 5/8/1928 - 5/17/2020 Kalamazoo Mary Ann Lamphear, 92 was born in Grand Rapids - the only child to Anna and John Ruthkosky. She graduated from Catholic Central in 1946 and married her high school sweetheart David Gardeski in 1950. David was killed in a work accident weeks after their honeymoon. She was a long time member of Holy Spirit Parish and worked at Wolverine Brass where she would meet Paul Lamphear whom she married in 1962. Paul passed away in 1991. She moved to Kalamazoo in 2013 to live with her daughter Paula, son in law Jim Eckert and granddaughter Emily. She loved being a grandmother and attended Emily's concerts and games. Private services will be held due to the pandemic. Contributions may be made to Catholic Central High School in her memory. Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes
