Loraine Szczepanek

SZCZEPANEK (KELLY) – Loraine Jane Szczepanek, age 94, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, and has rejoined her husband, Joseph J. Szczepanek, who preceded her in death. Loraine will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dan (Pat) Szczepanek, Linda (Dennis) Kivinen, Mark (Margi) Szczepanek, and Mary (Paul) Sterkenburg; grandchildren Kelly (Caleb) Evans, Danny Szczepanek, Paula (Patrick) Temple, Dale (Shannon) Kivinen, Lyndsay (Pat) Lucas, Kyle (Tawnee) Szczepanek, Annie (Mike) Skukalek, Stephen (Lorryn) Sterkenburg, Kristi (Heath) Esch; and great grandchildren, Ryan and Spencer Evans, Avery, Aaron, and Alysse Gill, Olivia, Brianna, and Ragan Kivinen, Mackenzie and Sydney Lucas, Abigail and Josephine Szczepanek, Tyler and Joseph Skukalek, Louanna Sterkenburg, Brody and Nora Esch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 151 Garfield Ave SW. Friends may meet Loraine’s family at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes – Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW, on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. and beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Guiding Light Mission would be appreciated.
